Milano's UpTowne Florist has been part of Central Ohio's flower business since 1935, when Milano Florist first opened on Morse Road, and since 1961, when UpTowne Flowers began serving families near Worthington and Dublin. Today the two shops operate together as Milano's UpTowne Florist at 729 Mt. Airyshire Blvd. in Columbus, and our design team, including a florist with more than 40 years of hands-on design experience, hand-arranges every new baby order before it leaves the shop.


We deliver new baby flowers throughout Central Ohio, including Dublin, New Albany, Powell, Delaware, Worthington, Upper Arlington, and Lewis Center. Same-day delivery is available in most of these areas when ordered by the daily cutoff: 12:30 p.m. for Dublin, Upper Arlington, and Delaware, 1:00 p.m. for Worthington, and 1:30 p.m. for Powell. We photograph every delivery and email the sender a confirmation photo, so families know exactly when their new baby flowers arrived.


Every new baby delivery is confirmed ahead of time, whether it's going to a hospital front desk or a family's front door. For hospital deliveries, we call ahead to verify the patient's information and the hospital's current policy on fresh flowers and plants in patient rooms, then deliver to the front desk for hospital staff to bring to the room. If a substitution is ever needed to keep an arrangement fresh, we keep the same color palette and the same dollar value as the original design.

Do you deliver new baby flowers to Central Ohio hospitals?

Yes. We deliver new baby flowers to Central Ohio hospitals, including Riverside Methodist, Mount Carmel East, Grant Medical Center, Dublin Methodist, and Nationwide Children's Hospital. We call ahead to confirm the patient's room and the hospital's current flower policy, then deliver to the front desk for hospital staff to bring to the room.


Can I add balloons, a plush keepsake, or candy to a new baby flower order?

Yes. Most new baby flower orders can include a Mylar balloon, a soft plush keepsake, or a box of candy in addition to the arrangement, so the flowers and the extra gift arrive together in one delivery.


Do you deliver new baby flowers to Powell and Delaware?

Yes. Powell and Delaware are both part of our regular Central Ohio delivery area, along with Dublin, New Albany, Worthington, Upper Arlington, and Lewis Center.


How does same-day new baby flower delivery work?

Same-day delivery is available in most areas when the order is placed by the daily cutoff: 12:30 p.m. for Dublin, Upper Arlington, and Delaware, 1:00 p.m. for Worthington, and 1:30 p.m. for Powell. We photograph every delivery and send a confirmation photo by email once it's complete.


What if the exact flowers in a new baby arrangement aren't available?

On occasion we substitute similar flowers based on freshness and availability. We keep the same color palette and the same dollar value as the original design.
